Acceptable Use Policy (AUP)

1. Introduction
This Acceptable Use Policy (“AUP”) governs the use of the Shipmuch platform, infrastructure, APIs, deployment systems, websites, and related services (collectively, the “Services”).
Shipmuch is operated by TORIS Technologies (Pty) Ltd (“Shipmuch”, “we”, “us”, or “our”).
This AUP is incorporated into the Shipmuch Terms of Service.
By using the Services, you agree to comply with this AUP.
2. Purpose
The purpose of this AUP is to:
- protect the stability and security of the platform;
- prevent abuse of infrastructure resources;
- protect other customers and third parties;
- maintain operational integrity;
- and ensure lawful usage of the Services.
3. General Responsibilities
You are responsible for:
- all deployments initiated through your account;
- all applications hosted through the Services;
- all network traffic generated by your workloads;
- all users within your organization or workspace;
- and ensuring your usage complies with applicable laws and regulations.
4. Prohibited Activities
You may not use the Services for activities including, but not limited to:
4.1 Illegal Activities
- violating applicable laws or regulations;
- distributing illegal content;
- facilitating criminal activity;
- or engaging in fraudulent conduct.
4.2 Malware & Malicious Code
- distributing malware;
- ransomware;
- spyware;
- trojans;
- worms;
- malicious scripts;
- or harmful software.
4.3 Unauthorized Access
- attempting unauthorized access to systems or networks;
- credential theft;
- password attacks;
- exploitation attempts;
- or bypassing security controls.
4.4 Phishing & Deception
- phishing campaigns;
- impersonation;
- fraudulent websites;
- deceptive communications;
- or social engineering attacks.
4.5 Network Abuse
- denial-of-service attacks;
- excessive scanning;
- brute force attacks;
- packet flooding;
- abusive traffic generation;
- or infrastructure disruption attempts.
4.6 Cryptocurrency Mining
You may not use the Services for unauthorized cryptocurrency mining or blockchain resource abuse without explicit written approval from Shipmuch.
4.7 Spam & Unsolicited Communications
- bulk unsolicited email;
- spam campaigns;
- abusive messaging;
- or unsolicited automated communications.
4.8 Intellectual Property Violations
- copyright infringement;
- unauthorized software distribution;
- trademark violations;
- or misuse of intellectual property.
4.9 Harmful Content
- exploitative material;
- violent illegal content;
- prohibited extremist content;
- or unlawful harmful material.
4.10 Infrastructure Abuse
- excessive resource consumption;
- platform exploitation;
- intentional service degradation;
- deployment loops designed to exhaust resources;
- or activities that negatively impact platform stability.
5. Customer Application Responsibility
Customers are solely responsible for:
- the behavior of deployed applications;
- security vulnerabilities in their code;
- dependencies used in applications;
- and operational consequences arising from deployments.
Shipmuch does not review or approve deployed applications before deployment unless explicitly stated.
6. Security Requirements
Customers must:
- maintain secure credentials;
- implement reasonable security practices;
- protect API keys and secrets;
- and monitor their workloads appropriately.
Failure to maintain reasonable security may result in suspension where operational risk exists.
7. Resource Usage Limits
Shipmuch may enforce operational limitations including:
- compute limits;
- memory limits;
- bandwidth limits;
- deployment limits;
- storage limits;
- and concurrency restrictions.
We may suspend or throttle workloads that negatively impact platform reliability or operational stability.
8. Monitoring & Enforcement
Shipmuch may monitor platform activity for:
- abuse detection;
- operational stability;
- security threats;
- fraud prevention;
- and infrastructure protection.
Monitoring may include:
- traffic analysis;
- deployment activity;
- runtime metrics;
- abuse detection systems;
- and automated enforcement mechanisms.
9. Suspension & Termination
Shipmuch may suspend, restrict, or terminate access to the Services:
- for violations of this AUP;
- to protect infrastructure;
- to mitigate security risks;
- to comply with legal obligations;
- or to prevent operational disruption.
Enforcement actions may occur without prior notice where necessary to protect the platform or third parties.
10. Reporting Abuse
Users may report violations or suspicious activity to:

- relevant URLs;
- deployment identifiers;
- timestamps;
- affected services;
- and supporting evidence where possible.
11. Cooperation with Authorities
Shipmuch may cooperate with:
- law enforcement agencies;
- regulators;
- infrastructure providers;
- and cybersecurity organizations
where legally required or operationally necessary.
12. Third-Party Services
Customers remain responsible for ensuring their usage of integrated third-party services complies with applicable provider terms and policies.
13. Platform Integrity
Users may not:
- reverse engineer platform systems;
- exploit APIs;
- bypass operational safeguards;
- interfere with orchestration systems;
- or attempt to compromise infrastructure integrity.
14. Automated Usage
Automated usage of the Services is permitted only where:
- it complies with this AUP;
- does not negatively impact infrastructure stability;
- and does not circumvent operational controls.
Shipmuch may rate-limit or restrict automated activity.
15. Changes to This Policy
Shipmuch may update this AUP periodically.
Continued use of the Services after updates constitutes acceptance of the revised Policy.
